Telehealth nursing services: digital support in times of need

During the most critical phases of the Covid-19 healthcare emergency, deploying specialized telehealth nursing services represented one of the most effective responses to ensure continuity of care within the healthcare system. In this challenging context, maintaining constant remote monitoring for individuals living with chronic and neurodegenerative conditions became a primary objective to safeguard public health.

BeCloud Solutions chose to contribute its Cloud technologies by participating in an innovative, fully digital telehealth nursing services program designed to deliver tangible, continuous support to patients living with Parkinson’s disease.

The Careapt telehealth nursing services program

The initiative was launched by Careapt, a startup within the Zambon Group specialized in developing digital solutions for Care Management and neurodegenerative disease support. The project structured a dedicated telehealth nursing services initiative, ensuring the regular delivery of timely medical interventions and remote patient monitoring.

The program focused primarily on the Italian regions most severely impacted by the Covid-19 crisis, where the necessity to minimize physical movement had to be balanced with protecting highly vulnerable individuals.

The role of Cloud technology in telehealth nursing services

In high-sensitivity environments where rapid response is vital, deploying Cloud-native software platforms carries significant strategic value. Managing care infrastructure via Cloud models allowed healthcare providers to protect patient health while ensuring operational continuity across clinical workflows.

Through the BeInContact platform, the omnichannel communication ecosystem empowered healthcare professionals delivering telehealth nursing services with all necessary patient data within a single web interface. This approach guaranteed secure access to contact and clinical information, enabling medical and nursing teams to operate seamlessly, even from remote locations.

An integrated response model for the healthcare sector

The experience gained during the emergency demonstrated how Software as a Service models supply the agility needed to navigate complex operational environments.

Providing a reliable contact infrastructure maximizes the impact of telehealth nursing services, allowing clinical personnel to focus on the quality of patient interactions and transforming technology into a true driver of community health and well-being.
